Housing Benefit Award Accuracy Initiative
Since 2020, we have been required by the Department for Work and Pensions to review Housing Benefit claims.
If we have sent you a letter to review your claim you can use the online review form and upload your proof.
Before you start you will need:
- your National Insurance number
- your claim reference number
- the full details of your income and expenditure
Proof you need
If your claim is under review, we will ask for details of your:
- household composition
- income from employment
- income from self-employment
- income from benefits
- savings, capital and property
- rent and service charges
As part of the review we may ask you to confirm circumstances or details not listed above.
