Calling all black residents of Tottenham, Haringey or beyond! Bring your photographs – whether they’re everyday moments, events, friends, or family – to our photo scanning workshop and help document our local Black history. This is your chance to preserve and share the rich stories of our community. Make sure you have permission to share the images you bring. Let’s celebrate our history together and ensure it’s remembered for generations to come!
A selection of images scanned on the day will later be projected in our very own square for public exhibition.
Black in the Day is a submission based photo archive documenting the lives and experiences of Black people in the UK over the decades.
This is a free drop-in event. We encourage you to sign up in advance to secure your spot, you’re also welcome to join us on the day.
