How we can help
Hearthstone is a free council-run service providing emotional and practical support to anyone experiencing domestic abuse in Haringey. The service includes:
- housing advice including access to refuge accommodation
- free legal advice on a range of civil solutions such as injunctions
- access to solicitors who provide free legal advice around family matters
- sanctuary scheme to make your home more secure
- working with you to plan ways to increase your safety
- access to counselling
Who can access the service
Domestic abuse can affect anyone. Support is available regardless of:
- age
- gender and gender reassignment
- sexual orientation
- community, faith, or cultural background
- immigration status or recourse to public funds
- disability (registered or not registered)
- mental health condition (diagnosed or undiagnosed)
