How we use the LDIS

Our public health team and our partners can use the LDIS to:

  • assess intelligence about new, potent, adulterated or contaminated drugs
  • develop appropriate responses through consistent assessment and grading processes
  • review local trends and new drugs in the market
  • deliver appropriate harm reduction and overdose prevention services with a targeted approach
  • issue public health alerts about such drugs to the local population

Please email LDIS@haringey.gov.uk if you need further support completing the form or have any queries on the process.
