What is this course about?

You will learn the basics of how to use Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. You will have the opportunity to combine a range of skills for page layout, formatting type, image editing and creating artworks while learning basic art and design principles.

Are there any entry requirements?

No prior knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign. However, learners should be competent computer users with good mouse and keyboard skills in either equivalent creative software, Microsoft Word, or PowerPoint or equivalent and be able to download, upload, save, open and retrieve files. You should be able to follow simple written and verbal instructions.

Do I need to have an interview before I can enrol?

Not if completed short courses in Photoshop, illustrator and InDesign previously.

How will I be taught?

This course will be delivered hybrid online or in person. 

What feedback will I get?

Your tutor will give you feedback on assignments and quizzes throughout the course recorded on your ILP.

How will I be able to give my views on the course?

You will be asked to complete a short end of course survey and to share your views through your class rep and in Ofsted surveys.

What course can I do next?

You may progress onto Using Photoshop, illustrator and InDesign to Publish your Artwork.

Level 2 certificate in Digital promotion for business.
