Events raise much-needed income which we invest back into Haringey's parks.
We use application and booking fees to:
- make improvements to parks
- support and develop community-led festivals and events
- fund training for community event organisers to help increase the number of volunteers and skill levels
- fund staffing and administration costs of the booking and event management process
Finsbury Park
We spend all income generated from events held in Finsbury Park on Finsbury Park. This is set out in the Open Spaces Act 1906.
The money goes towards:
- park management and maintenance costs
- improving the park’s infrastructure, as set out in the outdoor events policy
- support for community events
