The Garden has a volunteer group called The Friends of Tower Gardens. It's a group of local residents improving and enjoying Tower Gardens park.

History

The gardens were first arranged between 1904 and 1928. This gives a distinctive layout and style relating to that time. 

Tower Gardens Estate  

The estate was one of the first municipal ‘cottage estates’ in the world. Built by London County Council, it’s now a conservation area. 

954 houses are arranged in 24 streets with the park at the heart of the community.
