The Forum is an independent organisation for Haringey Friends of Parks groups and similar volunteer groups. All groups are active in protecting and improving local parks and greenspaces.
Groups can communicate and coordinate with each other through the Forum’s email list.
They hold meetings every 2 months which our parks staff attend. The meetings bring groups together to:
- share information and good practice
- give each other encouragement
- raise issues with each other, council officers and senior management
- hear from council staff about any improvements and changes to the parks service
