Rosa Cormacain finished ninth in the U15 girls’ category in a time of nine minutes and 31 seconds and Isabella Fornasari Watkins also achieved a top-10 finish (10th, 9:37s) in the U17 girls’ event.

For the boys, Charlie Nicolson (12th, 8:57s) Sam Turner (11th, 8:16s) and George Saint (11th, 7:59s) came home just outside the top 10 places in the U13, U15 and U17 boys’ races respectively.

In the team competitions, Haringey narrowly missed out on the podium in the U17 girls’ ‘Borough Challenge’ (Fourth, 125), while the U15 girls also obtained a top-five finish (Fifth, 139).

The boys’ teams all took home top-10 placings, with the U17s claiming seventh (202), the U15s finishing 10th (201) and the U13s crossing the finish line in ninth (179).

Meanwhile, Craig Gravis – son of the legendary Burk – completed the London Marathon on Sunday (21 April 2024) in an impressive time of 4 hours and 14 minutes.

Craig was raising money for the London Youth Games – a competition that Haringey, of course, has a proud pedigree and recent record in as back-to-back champions – and he is more than three-quarters of the way (78%, £780) towards his £1,000 target.

Many congratulations to all involved at the weekend. You did our borough proud and we hope you had an unforgettable day.

Thank you to the carers/parents, team officials and volunteers for making it all possible too.
