There are lots of free and fun activities in our libraries this weekend (Saturday 15 June 2024 – Sunday 16 June 2024).

For starters, Hornsey Library is staging a broad range of events as part of the Crouch End Festival.

There will be a guided tour, ‘Meet the Author’ sessions, multimedia shows, musical performances from Crescent Brass, Haydn and Nordic Folk Music, plays, singalongs and spoken word performances, as well as a deep dive into Crouch End’s history.

With Father’s Day on Sunday as well, children aged 3+ can craft their own cards at Coombes Croft Library (11am-12noon), Hornsey Library (2:30pm-3:30pm) and Marcus Garvey Library (11am-12noon) tomorrow (Saturday 15 June 2024).

Comics Club (12:30pm-2:30pm) returns to Stroud Green and Harringay Library on Saturday, when attendees will also be able to take part in a Comics Club Extra (2pm-3pm) session and try to draw Spider-Man!

You can check(-mate) out Chess Club at Wood Green Library tomorrow and next Sunday (23 June 2024) too (both 1pm-3pm).

There’s also a Gaiecon Presentation/Piano Recital-Talk by George Partou on Japanese Gardens at Coombes Croft Library tomorrow (3pm) and at Marcus Garvey Library next Saturday (22 June 2024, 3pm).
