The Secretary of States’ (SoS) decision to confirm the compulsory purchase order was published on 27 February 2019.
A legal challenge to the SoS’s decision was dismissed by the High Court on 10 October 2019.
Subsequently, the application made requesting permission to appeal the High Court judgment was refused by the Court of Appeal on 17 March 2020.
