Please remember to remove all lights and decorations before recycling your Christmas tree
We offer a number of ways to recycle your Christmas tree in Haringey.
Street collections
We can collect your tree for free. Leave the tree in a visible and accessible location in your front garden on collection day, ideally next to your bin(s). Our food/garden waste collection crews will pick it up.
Trees over 3 feet long (1 metre) should be cut in half otherwise we cannot collect them, as they will damage the vehicles.
Communal bins
Leave your tree next to your communal waste container. You can do this until the end of January.
Trees over 3 feet long (1 metre) should be cut in half.
If you live in a block with a communal chute, please do not put your Christmas tree down the chute.
