Recycle items at your nearest library
We're excited to introduce Haringey Green Hub, a new initiative to make recycling easier and reduce waste across Haringey. From Tuesday 1 October, libraries in Haringey will have dedicated recycling stations where you can drop off items that should not go in your general household waste.
You can recycle the following items:
- books (only at Marcus Garvey)
- batteries
- keys
- printer cartridges
- light bulbs
- textiles (only at Marcus Garvey)
See the lists on this page to see what you can recycle at each library.
These everyday items contain valuable materials that can be reused or recycled. Bringing them to your local Green Hub instead of tossing them in your bin will
- help protect the environment
- keep recyclable resources in circulation
The Green Hubs are part of our commitment to making recycling more convenient for residents. We encourage everyone to take full advantage of this easy and accessible service next time you visit your local library.
Let’s work together to reduce waste and keep Haringey green!
