For the 2025 to 2026 admission arrangements, we consulted on the:
- proposal to reduce the published admission number at several primary schools for the 2025 to 2026 school year by 30 reception places each
- coordinated schemes for admission of children to year 7 and reception in September 2025
- proposed in-year Fair Access Protocol, effective from 1 March 2024
- proposed admission arrangements for entry to school for:
- community and voluntary controlled schools
- nurseries
- infant schools
- junior schools
- primary schools
- secondary schools
- sixth forms
