We wanted to know your views on the need for publicly accessible toilets in Haringey.
We ran a consultation from 29 January to 29 April 2024. People who live in, work in or visit Haringey, shared their views on our current toilet facilities and concerns like cleanliness and safety.
All feedback will help us shape a plan for better public toilets in Haringey.
For this consultation, 'publicly accessible toilets' included changing facilities for babies and facilities for people with disabilities.
They include toilets located in public buildings like:
- libraries
- community centres
- shopping centres
- parks
- other public toilets that we maintain
You can check the locations of existing toilets on our map.
What happens next
We are looking at the responses to this consultation to develop a toilet strategy. The strategy will set out a series of recommendations and actions to improve public toilets in Haringey that will benefit both residents and visitors.
As well as being important for public health, these improvements will help make sure that Haringey is a welcoming place for people to visit.
