We’d like to hear from you on how we can make travel around Haringey safe and sustainable – and how we can make that transition in a fair and equitable way
In the last 5 years, we have:
- created more than 30 School Streets
- installed nearly 300 electric vehicle charging points
- renewed hundreds of pavements
- started building a network of safe cycling routes
We know there is much more to do. That’s why we’re inviting you to share your ideas and priorities as we work to create a fairer, safer, and more sustainable transport network for everyone in Haringey.
The consultation is open until 6 December 2024.
Our vision
Our vision is for a transport network that is safe and sustainable for all. How can we meet that ambition? Your feedback will help us address key questions, including:
- how can we share our road and street space in a fairer way, and make public transport accessible to all of our communities?
- how can we tackle air pollution, which affects more deprived neighbourhoods disproportionately?
- what kind of change do we need to build a safe and sustainable transport network in Haringey?
- how can we improve connections between the east and west of Haringey to make journeys easier?
- what changes can reshape our streets to improve wellbeing and bring communities together?
Your input will help shape 3 key areas of the strategy:
- Part 1: where we are and where we want to get to
- Part 2: what changes can make transport safer and more sustainable
- Part 3: household questions: information on how you travel
Have your say
