Walk and Talk in Down Lane Park – for SEND parents and carers

This is a great way to meet fellow parents and carers of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND)!

We'll go for a gentle walk around the park and then visit a cafe (our treat).

Let's meet at 11.30am outside Living Under One Sun Cafe, N17 9EX – inside the park by the courts.

We'll go for a gentle 30 minute walk around the park (and if everyone feels comfortable, we could also walk along the canal).

Afterwards we'll visit the cafe, our treat.

Meet at 11.30am outside Markfield Community Centre, N15 4RB – inside the park.

Meet an autism specialist employment advisor

Haringey Works is a free, dedicated employment service for Haringey residents.

We work closely with you on landing a fulltime, temporary or career change opportunity across a variety of sectors.

Our support service includes: 

Tapestry with Eliot (4th Tuesday of the month)

For autistic adults Initial projects include making individual lavender bags/pin cushions or and group project patchwork tapestry cushions.

Everyone will be able to take work home with them if they want do between classes.

Monthly Walk and Talk by SEND Power – Finsbury Park

Monthly Walk and Talk – whatever the weather! This month we will walk through Finsbury Park. 

Great way to meet other mums, dads and carers of children and young people with special education needs and/or disabilities.

Meet at Park View Café. Toilets are available in this park.

Afterwards we go to the café.
