The Earlham Suite at George Meehan House

The Earlham Suite at George Meehan House is the location of Haringey Register Office. The house has been fully restored and is only moments from the border with Enfield and less than 15 minutes from Wood Green Underground Station.

We have our own private garden which is also licensed for marriages and civil partnerships. The house is also surrounded by Green Flag parkland.

We are set in parkland and the house offers a tranquil environment with fantastic opportunities for photographs. A fixed fee covers the cost of the room and the ceremony.

Garden ceremonies

Our beautiful private landscaped garden has a combination of formal flower beds, a pergola with trailing plants, a small wild meadow area and several established trees.

It is the perfect location for a post-ceremony first toast and photographs. It can also be the backdrop for your outdoor wedding or civil partnership ceremony.

Outdoor ceremonies can be small and intimate, or larger with up to 20 guests, with couples able to make their entrance through our garden pergola.

Ceremonies normally take place during the warmer months but can take place at any time of the year. We will always have an indoor room on standby should the weather not allow a ceremony to take place outside as planned.

Our garden ceremonies are relaxed and informal with most guests standing. Two benches are available for those less able to stand.
