Triangle is a purpose-built nursery with direct access to a large garden.
We have 24 places for 2 year olds in our Explorers and Discovers room and 24 places in our Investigators room for 3 and 4 year olds.
Indoor space
The nursery is fully inclusive. We have a lift to the second floor and all areas are wheelchair accessible. We have three nursery rooms with direct access to a garden including Our Nurture Room for children under 2 takes 9 children and a separate unit for babies with its own garden. The nursery rooms are set up into play areas and the children are able to access the resources independently. There is a lounge area where children eat breakfast, lunch and tea. This area is also used to provide a transition for children from home to nursery and from nursery to home.
Outside area
The spacious outside area allows children to explore freely whilst making sense of the world around them. The outside space supports children of all ages to discover new experiences and take risks within a secure environment. We are presently developing one area into a forest garden.
The nursery has developed different areas to support children’s learning such as a sensory space, a lending library and access to a large hall area for inside physical activities. The front entrance has a secure entry system and an electronic register for both children and visitors. Parents are able to access the children centre services such as stay and play sessions, antenatal clinic, baby massage and support for employment as well as many other.
