How to respond to the annual canvass

Please follow the instructions in the communication you received from us and, when necessary, reply with one of the following options.

Online

The quickest way to respond is online, using our Household Response Service – it will only take a few minutes.

You will need your unique security code found in either the letter or email we sent to you.

If there are no changes to be made, call 0800 884 0701 and when prompted enter your unique security code.

Text

If there are no changes to be made, text 80212 with NOCHANGE followed by your unique security code. Please note that standard charges apply.

If nobody is eligible to vote, please include the reason after the security code. For example:

  • property is empty
  • business
  • second home

Post

If you cannot use one of the services above, you can complete the form and post it back to us using the prepaid envelope supplied.

If we do not receive a response to our communications, we will either send reminders or a canvasser to your property to help you complete the form.
