Notice of the election of a borough councillor for Hornsey ward. One borough councillor to be elected.

  1. Nomination papers must be delivered to the Returning Officer, George Meehan House, 294 High Road, Wood Green, London, N22 8YX on any working day after the date of this notice, on Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm (excluding bank holidays) but no later than 4pm on Friday 7 June 2024.
  2. Nomination papers may be obtained from the offices of the Returning Officer, George Meehan House, 294 High Road, Wood Green, London, N22 8YX, during the times stated above.
  3. If any election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday 4 July 2024.
  4. Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Tuesday 18 June 2024. Applications to register to vote can be made online on the GOV.UK website.
  5. Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of existing proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at George Meehan House, 294 High Road, Wood Green, London, N22 8YX by 5pm on Wednesday 19 June 2024. Applications to request a postal vote can be made online on the GOV.UK website.
  6. Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate (VAC) or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Wednesday 26 June 2024. Applications for a VAC can be made online on the GOV.UK website.
  7. New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at George Meehan House, 294 High Road, Wood Green, London, N22 8YX by 5pm on Wednesday 26 June 2024. Applications to request a proxy vote can be made online on the GOV.UK website.
  8. Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at George Meehan House, 294 High Road, Wood Green, London, N22 8YX by 5pm on Thursday 4 July 2024.
