A group exhibition curated by multidisciplinary artist Ronan Mckenzie. BGAC is proud to announce the second upcoming exhibition curated by multidisciplinary artist Ronan Mckenzie, opening in the Centre’s newly refurbished mezzanine gallery on Friday 20 September 2024.
What I Know Is Possible presents a dreamscape for the future, bringing together a collection of immersive and interactive artefacts from an imagined world through the perspectives of six contemporary artists. Through a series of both existing artworks and newly commissioned site-specific installations, What I Know Is Possible is a multi-sensory exhibition that forms the second part of Ronan Mckenzie’s guest curatorship at Bernie Grant Arts Centre.
Supported by the Freelands Foundation’s Space to Dream fund, the exhibition forms part of Black Art Matters, a three year visual arts project at the Centre, exploring the Black experience. There will be a free opening event on Thursday 19 September, find out more and book your place.
This exhibition is free to enter. You can book your ticket to receive 20% off tea or coffee (even iced!) at our Café. Walk ins also welcome.
