About the lido
The popular heated outdoor pool is open all year round.
Following an £8 million investment at the centre, the lido has been given a complete makeover, with brand new changing areas, bathroom facilities, a new reception area and cafe. The 50 metre long pool has also been renovated and new landscaping and water features give the whole site a relaxing, family-friendly feel.
General lido swimming sessions
Our lido swim sessions combine lane swimming and a family swim experience. Each booking slot is for 2 hours, but please help us with the smooth transitions between sessions by exiting the pool 10 minutes before the end of your session.
As with all outdoor pools, lido opening is subject to weather conditions and can be changed at short notice.
Important safety information
- Children under 8 years old and non-swimmers must have an adult present in the water
- Children under 4 years old must be accompanied by an adult on a one-to-one basis
- Children aged 4 to 7 must be accompanied by one adult for every 2 children
