Celebrating two years of progress

We are proud to reflect on our achievements over the last two years and the progress towards our vision of a fairer, greener Haringey.
key achievements 2024

From our successful bid to be named London Borough of Culture 2027, work beginning on 2,000 new council homes and the award of a ‘Good’ rating for Children’s Services for the first time to planting 4,000 trees, delivery of 34 school streets benefitting 16,000 children and providing Council Tax relief for 26,000 families, we are delivering for residents.

Through the Haringey Deal – our commitment to collaboration with residents – we have been able to tap into the strengths, knowledge, expertise and passion of local people to help us tackle the big challenges the borough faces.

We’ve done a lot so far, but we know there is much more to achieve, and we will continue co-designing and collaborating with our community to deliver for all residents in Haringey.
