The awareness raising film, titled ‘Any of Us,’ beat off stiff competition to win the ‘Best Collaboration’ and ‘Best Creative Comms’ prizes at the Comms2point0 Awards.
The project, which was backed by Haringey Council, is the largest public sector collaboration of its kind to date.
It showcases the need for people from all different backgrounds to consider fostering and the positive impact it can have on the lives of vulnerable children and young people.
Cllr Zena Brabazon, Cabinet Member for Schools and Families, at Haringey Council, said:
We are proud to have joined forces to work in collaboration on this project to reinforce our message.
Every child is one caring adult away from being a success story. To be able and willing to provide a loving home to vulnerable children, in desperate need, is simply amazing. ‘Any of Us’ shows us that people from all walks of life can foster, our everyday superheroes.
A Comms2point0 Award is a prestigious recognition of genuine creativity, innovation, and outstanding results within the communications, public relations, and digital industry. Determined through a combination of judging panel evaluation and community voting, these awards are renowned for their fairness and impartiality.
Shortlisted across five categories, the project is a collaboration involving more than 80 council fostering teams from across the UK: some 62 named on the original submission, and an impressive 87 in all who have now contributed to the production, administration and launch costs (including councils working jointly as regional fostering organisations and council-owned children’s trusts).
The film has been produced by ReelTwentyFive and project managed by CAN Digital and Project Director, Rachel Brown.
