You can download and read the Order of Service sheets for the Tottenham and Wood Green War Memorial ceremonies on the Haringey Council website.

If you’d like to wear a poppy to one of these events at the weekend, they can be found in Haringey’s libraries and on the reception desk of Alexandra House and George Meehan House in Wood Green.

The Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal runs until Remembrance Day and money raised goes towards its welfare and benevolent work in support of serving and ex-service people and their families.

The Mayor of Haringey, Cllr Sue Jameson, launched The Poppy Appeal in Haringey last month. Speaking as she purchased her poppy at the time, Cllr Jameson said:

“I am very proud to wear a poppy and support the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal.

“I hope that Haringey residents will join me in paying tribute to those serving the country today, as well as honouring the countless service men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice and given their lives in service.”

For further information about the Poppy Appeal or Remembrance Day, please visit the Royal British Legion’s website.
