In September 2018, Haringey, Islington and Hackney councils designated the Finsbury Park and Stroud Green Neighbourhood Area and Finsbury Park and Stroud Green Neighbourhood Forum.
The forum will produce a neighbourhood plan for the area which, together with the adopted planning policy documents for Haringey, Islington and Hackney councils, will form the basis for determining planning applications in their area.

Consultation
We consulted with residents, those who work or carry on business in the area, and other interested stakeholders from 14 May to 25 June 2018, before determining to designate the forum.
As a result of the consultation and our scrutiny of the application, we determined to remove Finsbury Park (the full extent of Finsbury Park open space) from the forum's designated area.
