Identity

We need to see proof of your passport or full UK driving licence.

If you do not have a passport or UK driving licence, we need to see your:

  • national identity card (European National)
  • immigration status

The proof must be valid (not expired).

Immigration status

We need to see one of the following:

  • a letter from the Home Office
  • document or passport showing your residence permit
  • document or passport showing your leave to remain

National Insurance (NI) number

We need to see proof of your NI number and a letter from one of the following:

  • the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) showing your name and National Insurance number
  • HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) showing your name and National Insurance number
