Who can appeal
You or your landlord can appeal a decision to pay:
- you and not the landlord
- the landlord and not you
You cannot appeal a decision about the:
- level of Local Housing Allowance set by the rent service
- boundary of a Broad Rental Market Area
How to make an appeal
Appeals must be made in writing within 1 month of the date of our decision.
You must include:
- the date of the decision
- what you're appealing
- evidence to support your appeal
