How to get help from Prevent

Part of: Haringey Prevent

If you're worried someone might be at risk of being radicalised, you can make a referral. The person will be assessed and offered support if they're at risk.

Terrorist groups may try to recruit susceptible people, either in person or online. If we recognise the early signs and take action, it helps protect the person involved and keeps everyone in Haringey safe.

Prevent referrals are about safeguarding people – they do not go on someone's criminal record.
