Council budget

The budget book includes:

• the local authority general fund budget for 2023 to 24
• a 5-year projection of the capital programme 

From April 2023 to March 2024, we have budgeted:

• £279,510 million for providing council services
• £147,522 million for the housing revenue account

We will also receive £207,560 million in dedicated schools grant funding.

The 2023 to 24 budget was approved by Full Council on 2 March 2023.
