The UK Parliamentary general election will take place on Thursday 4 July 2024.
Who can vote
To vote in the general election, you must be:
- registered to vote
- 18 or over on 4 July 2024
- a British, Irish, or qualifying commonwealth citizen
- resident at an address in the UK or living abroad and registered as an overseas voter
- legally allowed to vote
