Some of the biggest names in music, such as Nicki Minaj, Sean Paul, Michael Bibi, Doja Cat and Hozier will once again be performing in Finsbury Park this year as part of our Major Events programme next month.
These events bring major benefits to the Haringey economy, with an annual £1.2 million income that is reinvested into the park and local businesses in the N4 area receiving a big boost as well.
There will also be two free community events, Finsbury Fest and a Haringey schools’ music concert, giving local musicians the opportunity to take to the stage and showcase their talents.
Letters were sent to residents this month (June 2024) informing them about the events and the impacts that they will have on the local area.
Read below for key information about the events, including how you can raise questions, concerns and feedback.

Updates for 2024
Each year, due consideration is given to the suggestions raised at post-event debriefs to improve the experience of the events for both festival/gig goers and local residents.
We would like to highlight the following points:
- Additional fencing will be erected within the park, so access in and around the park during event days may be different than in previous years
- Access to the café, children’s play areas, the skate plaza, sports facilities and the tennis courts will be facilitated at all times
- Finsbury Park Station, Manor House Station and Seven Sisters Road will be very busy during the road closure times
- The exit route will take festival/gig goers out of the park via the arena entrance before the gig finishes. Once the gig finishes, the exit route will flip to the north east of the park and festival/gig goers will exit out onto Seven Sisters Road. From here, they will turn right for Finsbury Park Station and left for Manor House Station
- Festival/gig goers from the local area tend to walk home and local access will be facilitated
- The internal park route from Stroud Green Road and Oxford Road Gate will be closed from 2pm onwards during the Wireless Festival weekend. A diversion route will be in place for local park users and access will be facilitated for those who wish to use either the skate plaza or the tennis courts
- Finsbury Park Station’s exit route will be via City North from 6pm each night during the live, event-day shows
- Ease of entry into Finsbury Park for both the local community/residents and festival/gig goers will continue to be facilitated via the crowd management measures outside Finsbury Park Gate. These measures involve a combination of barriers and security guards
- In conjunction with our partners including the Metropolitan Police and in order to constantly review the security situation, we encourage the public to report any suspicious activity to the Anti-Terrorism Hotline on: 0800 789 321 or 999 in an emergency.
