Week of Action to focus on Hornsey

The next Week of Action gets under way on Monday 25 November 2024 in Hornsey to help address people’s concerns about key local issues.
Week of Action timetable - Hornsey (4)

This latest series will focus on key issues adversely affecting the ward such as anti-social behaviour (ASB), housing repairs and management on nearby estates, licensing matters along the High Street and along Tottenham Lane and parking enforcement.

Activities will include joint patrols by the police and the council’s antisocial behaviour (ASB) and waste enforcement teams.

The Week of Action will involve key services across the borough, including: the council’s ASB, Community Safety, Environmental Health, Estate Management, Hate Crime & Prevent, Housing Repairs, Licensing Enforcement and Parking teams, as well as other services such as Community Payback.

There will be a central engagement hub located inside the ward each weekday, giving opportunities for residents to discuss any issues or concerns they have with council staff.

Following resident feedback from previous Weeks of Action, we will also be organising the daily hubs at different locations and times throughout the week to give more residents the chance to engage.

A full timetable for the hub in Hornsey ward is below:

Monday 25 November 2024: Parks team at Priory Park – 11am-1pm
Tuesday 26 November 2024: ASB, Estate Management & Housing Repairs teams at Campsbourne Estate (Kurdish Advice Centre) – 1pm-3pm
Wednesday 27 November 2024: ASB, Estate Management & Housing Repairs teams at Lightfoot Estate – 4pm-6pm

Friday 29 November 2024: Community Safety and Hate Crime/Prevent teams at Moravian Church/Park Avenue – 1pm-3pm
