Day of Action in Philip Lane

Haringey residents who live or work near Philip Lane engaged with council officers across multiple departments and services during a concerted Day of Action on Wednesday (17 July 2024).

The Day of Action involved key services across the borough, including – among others – the council’s ASB, Highways, Home Improvement, Homelessness Outreach, Litter and Waste, Parks and Regulatory Services teams, as well as Bringing Unity Back Into The Community (BUBIC), Connected Communities, Haringey Community Gold and other services such as Community Payback.

There was also a Central Hub at 3 Mount Pleasant Road* (*at the junction with Philip Lane) between 1pm and 3pm that afternoon, giving opportunities for residents to discuss any issues or concerns they have with our ASB, Enforcement and Town Centre Management teams.

This Day of Action is a truncated version – or a short, sharp intervention – of the more regular Weeks of Action that take place on a bi-monthly basis, with each one targeting a different area of Haringey.

Previous Weeks of Action have taken place in Bruce Grove, Crouch End, Hermitage and Gardens, Highgate, Hornsey, Muswell Hill, Northumberland Park, South Tottenham, Stroud Green, Tottenham Hale, Turnpike Lane and Wood Green.
