With many securing places at prestigious universities both in the UK and abroad, and others embarking on apprenticeships with leading national and international companies, students across the borough have demonstrated remarkable achievements, setting a strong foundation for their bright futures.
Cllr Zena Brabazon, Haringey Council’s Cabinet Member for Children, Schools, and Families, visited schools and colleges to personally congratulate pupils and staff on their achievements.
Her first stop was Fortismere School in Muswell Hill, followed by Haringey 6th Form college, in Tottenham.
“I am immensely proud of our students across Haringey who have shown incredible resilience and dedication to achieve these outstanding results,” said Cllr Brabazon. “Their success is a testament to their hard work, as well as the unwavering support from their teachers and families.”
The celebrations continued with the London Academy of Excellence Tottenham (LAET)—the Club-sponsored Sixth Form College based on the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium campus—who shared some particularly notable achievements.
For the first time in the school’s history, two students, Annabella Ritzau and Jessica Farley, have secured places at the prestigious Harvard University on full academic scholarships. Additionally, a number of students have earned spots at Oxford and Cambridge Universities, highlighting the school’s strong academic credentials.
“These exceptional results underscore the talent and ambition of our young people in Haringey,” Cllr Brabazon added. “Whether heading to top universities here in the UK or impressive institutions abroad, the next generation of Haringey are set to thrive. Congratulations to all, and I look forward to seeing what they will achieve next.”
The council extends its heartfelt congratulations to all students, teachers, and families involved in making this year’s results day a momentous occasion.
