Abandoned kittens on road to recovery

Do you remember the four kittens who were rescued by caring Haringey Council staff after being left abandoned in Bruce Castle Park?
Bobbi and Tracey Pic

Despite a less than paw-esome start to their young lives, we’re pleased and relieved to report that these formidable female felines – now affectionately known as Bobbi, Stella, Terri & Tracey – are well on the road to recovery at the RSPCA’s Finsbury Park Hospital.

Emma Yelland at the RSPCA Finsbury Park Hospital said:

The kittens are all doing well in our care. They initially had cat flu, which meant they were placed in isolation, but they are much better now. The girls are typical playful and friendly kittens who love toys and treats!

Once they have put on a bit more weight, Terri, Tracey, Bobbi and Stella, will then be neutered and ready to move to a rehoming centre or branch for adoption.

It’s such a rewarding part of our job to see animals rehabilitated and then move on to find loving forever homes and I’m so pleased that these kittens will soon be able to do just that.

If you are struggling to care for your beloved pet, you should reach out for help and speak to your friends and family, a local charity or your vet.

Whatever you choose to do, please don’t abandon your pet.

If you do come across an animal you believe has been abandoned, please take them to a rescue charity or a local vet for urgent care.
