Consultation on conservation area appraisal and management plan documents

In July 2019 after a six-week public consultation, new conservation area appraisal and management plan documents were adopted for:

  • Bruce Castle
  • Tottenham Cemetery
  • Tower Gardens
  • Peabody Cottages

They will be used together with other planning policy documents to guide decisions on planning applications and planning enforcement.

All consultation responses were reviewed and the documents were revised where appropriate. The consultation statement provides more information about the comments we received and our responses.

Consultation on the draft local heritage list for Haringey

We held a public consultation on the draft local heritage list , which identifies buildings and structures in Haringey that have local heritage interest warranting consideration in the planning process.

This is an update of the council’s existing local list and has been prepared in consultation with local amenity groups. It includes new listing criteria, guidance and a revised list of buildings.

Members of the public were invited to comment on the draft document or suggest new buildings for inclusion.

The consultation is now closed and we are reviewing responses. The documents will be revised where appropriate and nominated buildings that meet the selection criteria will be added to the draft list. A consultation report with details of the comments received and our responses will be published alongside the revised draft.
