These measures include:
- increasing public awareness on the benefits of electric vehicles

- installing more charging points with different types of power supply
Haringey’s Ultra-Low Emission Vehicle Action Plan
To deliver our ambition, we've published an action plan that aims to address:
- increasing transport emissions
- growing electric vehicle demand
- how to facilitate the switch to ultra low emission vehicles across all vehicle types
The action plan was published after a public consultation, during which we asked for feedback on a draft version of the plan.
Initiatives to encourage the use of electric vehicles
Electric vehicle charging points
As part of our action plan to promote and encourage the use of electric vehicles, we're considering ways to increase the number of electric vehicle charging points and bays in Haringey.
Charging points and bays are managed by various companies, which come with their own fees for charging. These include:
- on-street standard charging points
- lamp column charging points
- rapid charging points
You can find electric vehicle charging points in Haringey.
