Haringey students celebrate another year of academic success

Haringey’s students are celebrating another year of outstanding academic achievements as they receive their GCSE, A-Level, BTec, and vocational qualification results.
Haringey Results Day

The results from exams taken earlier this summer reflect the hard work and determination of young people across the borough.

Cllr Zena Brabazon, Cabinet Member for Children, Schools, and Families, visited several schools over the two results days, including Fortismere, Haringey Sixth Form College, Gladesmore Community School, and Hornsey School for Girls. While she had the pleasure of congratulating many students in person, her heartfelt congratulations extend to all students across the borough.

These results are a testament to the dedication and resilience of our young people and set a strong foundation for their futures, whether they’re heading to university, starting an apprenticeship, or pursuing other opportunities.

Across the borough, students gathered with friends and family to open their results, marking a significant milestone in their educational journeys. The atmosphere was one of celebration and pride, as students reflected on their achievements and looked forward to their next steps.

Haringey’s A-Level students have secured places at prestigious universities both in the UK and abroad, while others are embarking on apprenticeships with leading national and international companies. Their success is not only a reflection of their academic abilities but also the potential that universities and employers value highly.

The council extends its heartfelt congratulations to all students, teachers, and families who contributed to making this year’s results day a momentous occasion. The collective successes of Haringey’s young people are a source of immense pride for the entire community, as they step confidently into their bright futures.
