Types of rubbish and recycling bin

In your garden waste bin you can put:

• flowers and house plants
• grass cuttings
• hedge clippings
• leaves
• plants
• prunings
• small branches (no thicker than 2cm)
• twigs and sticks
• weeds

You cannot put:

• food
• Japanese knotweed
• large branches (diameter thicker than 2cm)
• plastic flowerpots or trays
• rubble
• soil or sand
• turf
• any other rubbish
