Priory Park flood alleviation scheme

This scheme is in the early stages of design. If the proposals are implemented, it should reduce the risk of flooding to a number of properties in the area.

The current outline scheme has options for an attenuation basin (pond) and the opening up of the Cholmeley Brook in the park. Subject to detailed design approval and funding, this scheme may be implemented in the near future.
