Parking on housing estates

What estate parking schemes are, how to tell if your estate is part of a scheme, how they operate and what parking permits you can apply for.

Estate controlled parking schemes

Some estates in Haringey have estate controlled parking schemes. A yellow notice board at the entrance of an estate tells you if it's part of a parking scheme and the times you must have a permit to park there.

There are separate event event day restrictions for estates near Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. For details, check the yellow notice boards at the entrance of an estate.

Estate parking permits

If you live on an estate with a parking scheme, you need to display a permit to park there.

You can apply online for:

  • an estate resident parking permit
  • an estate disabled resident parking permit
  • visitor parking permits
  • a garage forecourt parking permit

You can apply for more than 1 type of permit at the same time.

You must contact us by email or phone if you need a permit for a specific purpose, like a:

  • contractor
  • carer
  • courtesy car

Health professionals, such as doctors and nurses, should apply for estate permits through their organisation.

Fees

Parking permits to park on an estate where you live are free.
