Request a temporary TMO

Part of: Traffic management orders (TMOs)

You can apply for a temporary TMO if:

  • there's an emergency
  • you're a contractor who needs to do street work
  • you're planning an event or a street party

Emergencies

We can immediately issue a temporary notice to restrict or close a road if there’s been an emergency – for example, a burst water main.

Street work
