How to apply for a dedicated disabled parking bay

This is a free service.

To apply you need copies of: 

  • your, or your nominated driver’s, UK driving licence 
  • your, or your nominated driver’s, vehicle log book (V5C) 
  • a letter from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) confirming you can get one of the benefits you need to apply 

If you do not get any of the benefits you need to apply, you can ask us to refer you for an assessment with the expert assessor as part of your application. 

The quickest and easiest way to apply is through our online form.

Change a general disabled bay into a dedicated disabled bay 

Apply in the normal way if you think an existing disabled parking bay could become a dedicated disabled bay.
