If you have a premises licence you can: 

  • apply to vary the conditions 
  • change the details on it 
  • report it lost or stolen 

Apply for a full variation 

Make a full variation application if you want to: 

  • change the hours of the licensable activities 
  • change the types of the licensable activities 
  • make big structural changes to the licensed premises 

What you need to provide 

Your application must include a: 

  • copy of your premises licence 
  • clear and legible plan of the premises  

Fee 

The fee depends on your rateable value. Check the rateable value of your premises if you’re unsure.

Apply for a full variation to a premises or club certificate 

After applying 

Your application will go through a 28-day consultation process. 

During that time you must: 

Advertise your application 

You must advertise your application by putting: 

  • a notice on the premises 
  • an announcement in a local newspaper

Apply for a minor variation 

Make a minor variation application for: 

  • small alterations to the internal layout of the premises 
  • to remove any conditions on the licence 

Fee 

£89.  

Apply for a minor variation to a premises or club certificate 

After applying 

You must advertise your application for a minor variation on your premises for 10 days.

Change name and/or address 

You can change the name and/or address on your licence. 

Fee 

£10.50

Apply to change name and/or address on your licence

Change the designated premises supervisor (DPS)

Get a replacement licence

Please contact us via email if you need a replacement licence.  

The fee is £10.50.
